Description
(1S,2S) -ML-SI3 is the (-) -trans-isomer and a potent TRPML1/2 inhibitor, with weaker activity against TRPML3. Its (+) -enantiomer conversely inhibits TRPML1 but activates TRPML2/3. This stereospecific modulation makes it a valuable chemical tool for studying lysosomal ion channel function in cellular and biochemical assays.
