Description
Prostaglandin K2 (PGK2) is a 9,11-diketone oxidation product of PGE2 or PGD2. While its physiological occurrence is not confirmed, it is a stable metabolite in vitro, resistant to degradation by 15-hydroxy prostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH), making it useful for studying eicosanoid metabolism and degradation pathways.
