NM-3 is an orally bioavailable small molecule with anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor properties. It functions as a radiation sensitizer in experimental models by inhibiting VEGF-induced endothelial cell proliferation and inducing ROS-mediated apoptosis. Its research applications include studying angiogenesis, tumor response to radiotherapy, and combination therapies in both in vitro and in vivo settings.
