Description
Carotegrast methyl (AJM300/PTC-100) is an orally bioavailable α4 integrin antagonist that inhibits leukocyte trafficking. It has demonstrated dose-dependent efficacy in preclinical models, including the reduction of lymphocyte homing to gut-associated lymphoid tissue and the prevention of experimental colitis in mice.
