Description
AVE-8134 is a selective PPARα agonist, exhibiting significantly higher potency for the human receptor (EC50 = 100 nM) than for the rodent ortholog (EC50 = 3000 nM) . This tool compound is used in vitro and in vivo to investigate lipid metabolism, inflammation, and metabolic diseases.
