Description
AZD-6370 is a glucokinase activator that reduces both fasting and postprandial glucose levels in type 2 diabetes patients, with its efficacy dependent on dosing and food intake. Research applications include studying glucose metabolism and pancreatic beta-cell function in both in vitro and in vivo models, as it does not impair the counterregulatory response to hypoglycemia.
