UNC0379 TFA is a potent and selective substrate-competitive inhibitor of the lysine methyltransferase SETD8 (KMT5A), with an IC50 of 7.3 μM. It demonstrates high selectivity over 15 other methyltransferases. This compound is a valuable chemical probe for studying histone H4 lysine 20 methylation in epigenetic and cancer research, both in vitro and in cellular assays.
