Description
Methoxyamine HCl is an orally available small molecule that covalently binds to AP sites in DNA, inhibiting the base excision repair (BER) pathway. This inhibition can enhance DNA damage and apoptosis, particularly in combination with alkylating agents in cancer research, as demonstrated in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
