Description
BIX-01294 trihydrochloride is a cell-permeable, potent, and selective inhibitor of the G9a histone methyltransferase, exhibiting an IC50 of 2.7 μM in biochemical assays. It is widely used in epigenetics research to probe the role of histone H3 lysine 9 methylation in gene silencing, cellular differentiation, and has been applied in both cellular and animal studies.
