  Recombinant Chagas 1F8 protein (Epitope of the flagellar calcium-binding protein FCABP of Trypanosoma cruzi) produced in E. coli, is a polypeptide chain having a total of 234 a.a (includes his tag) . The protein is fused to a 6-His tag having a total Mw of 25.8kDa and a theoretical pI of 5.39. Applications: Reacts with sera from infected patients. Useful for immunoassays.
