Description
Phrixotoxin 1 is a selective peptide blocker of Kv4 potassium channels, isolated from the venom of the Chilean rose tarantula (Phrixotrichus auratus) . It is a valuable tool for studying cardiac and neuronal Ito currents in both in vitro electrophysiology and in vivo models of excitability.
