Description
FS-2 is a selective L-type voltage-gated calcium channel (CaV) blocker. It potently inhibits depolarization-induced Ca2+ influx, such as that triggered by high K+ or glucose, in pancreatic RIN beta cells. This inhibitor is a valuable research tool for studying Ca2+ signaling in insulin secretion and related metabolic pathways in vitro.
