Description
Docetaxel (Standard) is the analytical standard of Docetaxel. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Docetaxel (RP-56976) is a microtubule depolymerization inhibitor, with an IC50 of 0.2 μM. Docetaxel attenuates the effects of bcl-2 and bcl-xL gene expression. Docetaxel arrests the cell cycle at G2/M and leads to cell apoptosis. Docetaxel has anti-cancer activity[1][3].

Docetaxel

Docetaxel anhydrous is a tetracyclic diterpenoid that is paclitaxel with the N-benzyloxycarbonyl group replaced by N-tert-butoxycarbonyl, and the acetoxy group at position 10 replaced by a hydroxy group. It has a role as an antineoplastic agent, an antimalarial and a photosensitizing agent. It is a secondary alpha-hydroxy ketone and a tetracyclic diterpenoid. It derives from a hydride of a taxane.
