  Cell-permeable. MRL-24 displays high affinity for PPARγ with excellent anti-diabetic activity in mice but poor PPARγ agonist activity in transcription and adipogenesis assays. Highly effective (30 nM) at blocking Cdk5-mediated phosphorylation of PPARγ.
