SpecificityNKI-Beteb reacts with Melanoma Associated Antigen, a glycoprotein of 100 + 7 kDa. Melanoma associated antigen (MAA) is dispersed in the cytoplasma of melanoma cells, and is more concentRated inside vacuoles and sometimes on the melanosomes. Occasionally the antigen is seen on the cell surface. The antigen is actively shed from living cells. Melanoma Associated Antigen 100 + 7 kDa is present in melanomas, clear cells sarcomas (melanoma of soft tissue), nevocellular nevi, and normal melanocytes. Except for one case of non Hodgkin's lymphoma in which macrophages were positive, the antigen has not been detected with other tumors or tissues observed. The antibody reacts with melanomas, clear cell sarcomas (melanoma of soft tissue), nevocellular nevi, and normal melanocytes. The antibody reacts with melanomas, clear cell sarcomas (melanoma of soft tissue), nevocellular nevi, and normal melanocytes.

FormEach vial contains 100 ul 1 mg/ml purified monoclonal antibody in PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide.
-
Storage_stabilityStore at 4 degree C, or in small aliquots at -20 degree C.
-
Tested_applicationImmunohistochemistry (IHC) (frozen), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (paraffin)
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antigens are peptides or recombinant or native dependent on the production method.

TestMouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
