DescriptionThe research-grade biosimilar is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets IL-4Rα and inhibits IL-4 and IL-13 signaling, which play an important role in Th-2 mediated immune response and thus downregulates Type 2 inflammation. The biosimilar was generated in CHO cells using recombinant DNA technology. The original drug was developed by Sanofi and Regeneron and received approval from the FDA for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and eczema. Additionally, this drug received approval to treat patients aged 12 years and above, suffering from moderate-to-severe asthma, and moderate-to-severe eosinophilic asthma or oral corticosteroid-dependent asthma.

Additional descriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by Biovision they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
