  • Antibody advice
ELISA:To detect hsTNF Receptor by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 ug/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hsTNF Receptor.Sandwich:To detect hsTNF-Receptor I by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 ug/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with our Polyclonal Anti-Human sTNF-Receptor I (XP-5276) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hsTNF-Receptor I. Western Blot:To detect hsTNF Receptor by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hsTNF Receptor is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
  • Keep at
sTNF Receptor Type I antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20 grades C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8 grades C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20 grades C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell. In this sense, am olfactory receptor is a protein-molecule that recognizes and responds to endogenous-chemical signals, chemokinesor cytokines e.g. an acetylcholine-receptor recognizes and responds to its endogenous-ligand, acetylcholine. However, sometimes in pharmacology, the term is also used to include other proteins that are drug-targets, such as enzymes, transporters and ion-channels.
  • Properties
