Amitriptyline hydrochloride also inhibits adrenergic, muscarinic, histamine and 5-HT receptors. Amitriptyline hydrochloride is a TrkA and TrkB receptors agonist with potent neurotrophic activity. Amitriptyline hydrochloride has antidepressant activity[1][2][3].
