• Source:

  Chickens were immunized with highly purified Glutamate Dehydrogenase, purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Glutamate Dehydrogenase was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support.

• Assay Principle:

  The anti-Clostridium difficile GDH antibody in a Western blot at a dilution of 1:5000 effectively probed 0.1 µg of the Glutamate Dehydrogenase. For direct ELISA, a dilution of 1:17,000 is recommended. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.
