Ganitumab (AMG 479) is a potent monoclonal antibody targeting IGF1R with high affinity (KD 0.22 nM) . It blocks IGF1 and IGF2 signaling and is widely used in cancer research, including in vitro cell-based assays and in vivo xenograft studies investigating tumor growth inhibition.
