- Host: Rabbit
- Clone: Polyclonal
- Source: Washed whole erythrocytes were prepared from fresh blood and used for intravenous immunization. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
- Assay Principle: Precipitation assays. Hemolytic titre at which 50% lysis occurs following mixing of equal volumes of antiserum, guinea pig complement (at a dilution of 1:60) and 10 8 RBC/mL not less than 1:3,000 when tested with sheep erythrocytes.
- Form: Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized, stable whole antiserum; No preservative added; Total protein and IgG concentrations in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled; Normal rabbit serum; No foreign proteins added; Reconstitute the lyophilized antiserum by adding 1 mL sterile distilled water
