Endogenous Peroxidase Block

• Description:

  Endogenous peroxidase and pseudoperoxidase activity is found in many frozen, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections and cell smears.

• Applications:

  IHC, ICC

• Assay Principle:

  1. Deparaffinizate the tissue as described in your protocol. 2. For paraffin sections add few drops of endogenous peroxidase blocking solution for 10 minutes at room temperature. For frozen sections use Endogenous Peroxidase blocking solution (1:10 diluted in methanol) . Rinse slide with distilled water 3X 3. Proceed with the protocol.
