Human MIG Recombinant
Background:
MIG (CXCL9) protein belongs to the family of chemotactic cytokines known as chemokines. The synthesis of MIG (CXCL9) is specifically induced in macrophages and in other cells by IFN-gamma. Human neutrophils produce MIG in response to IFN-gamma in combination with either TNF-alpha or bacterial lipopolysaccharides and this response is blocked by IL-10 and IL-4. MIG is a chemoattractant for stimulated but not resting T-cells, however it is not active on neutrophils or monocytes. MIG is thought to be involved in T cell trafficking.Description:
Recombinant MIG (CXCL9) is a disulfide-linked monomeric protein consisting of 104 amino acid residues, migrates as an approximately 11 kDa protein under non-reducing and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human MIG mature chain was expressed inE. coli.UniProt:
Q07325Endotoxin:
< 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg), using the LAL gel clot method.Purity:
≥ 97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLCFormat:
Lyophilized proteinReconstitution:
Reconstitute at 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. To maximize product collection from vial surface, vortex briefly and then spin down to recollect the liquid.Shipping Conditions:
Gel Packs or Dry IceStorage Conditions:
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, store in working aliquots at +4°C for up to one month, or at -20°C for up to six months, in the presence of a carrier protein. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.Calculated Molecular Weight:
11 kDaFormulation:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered 1.0 mg/ml solution in 25 mM NaCl, 10 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.0.
