NSC 632839 hydrochloride is an inhibitor of USP (ubiquitin isopeptidase) activity that displays no effect on the proteolytic activity of the proteasome. Induces apoptosis via a Bcl-2-dependent and apoptosome-independent pathway of caspase activation.
