Background:
Human Glutathione S-transferase P (GSTP1) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GSTP1 gene, belongs to the GST superfamily. It contains 1 GST C-terminal domain, 1 GST N-terminal domain, conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number of exogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles.
