Description
The HDAC10 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor HDAC10 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of HDAC10 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on HDAC10.
Synonyms

Function
Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4) . Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes.
