Mouse Vitamin D BP/GC/Vitamin D Binding Protein ELISA Kit PicoKine®
Background:
Vitamin D-binding protein (DBP), also/originally known as gc-globulin (group-specific component), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GC gene. It is mapped to 5 E1; 5 44.32 cM. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the albumin gene family. It is a multifunctional protein found in plasma, ascitic fluid, cerebrospinal fluid and on the surface of many cell types. It binds to vitamin D and its plasma metabolites and transports them to target tissues. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.Description:
Mouse Vitamin DBP ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests) . Quantitate Mouse GC in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum, plasma (heparin), saliva and urine. Sensitivity: 50pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.Synonyms:
