Oleandomycin

  • Description:

Oleandomycin is a macrolide antibiotic structurally closely related to Erythromycin. Oleandomycin is similar to Erythromycin with antimicrobial activity. Oleandomycin inhibits protein synthesis by interference with translation of activated amino acids to nascent peptide chains on the ribosomes[1][2].
