Phthalazine is a substrate for human aldehyde oxidase 1, which can lead to the production of ROS and subsequent enzyme inactivation. Phthalazine is a nitrogen-containing organic heterocyclic compound. Phthalazine exhibits antitumor activity in blood cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer and renal cancer[1][2].
