  AB-506 is an orally active inhibitor of HBV replication targeting the viral core protein. AB-506 can bind to HBV core protein, accelerate capsid assembly and inhibit HBV pgRNA encapsidation. AB-506 can be used in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) research[1].
