Description
Bis-Pro-5FU (Compound 4) is a 5-FU precursor that confers oral bioavailability and increase the safety profile of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) chemotherapy regimens. 5-FU is an antineoplastic antimetabolite that is widely used for the research of colorectal and pancreatic cancer[1]. Bis-Pro-5FU is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
