  Chickens were immunized with purified recombinant protein A. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction purified. Antibodies were immunoaffinity-purified from a protein A agarose column and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
