• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes rat cortisone. Crossreactivities were tested using an ELISA with cortisone-3-cmo-x-biotin: Cortisol: 3.4%; 11-Deoxycortisol, 11-Dehydrocorticosterone: 0.6%; Tetrahydrocortisone: 0.2%; Cortisoterone, Deoxycortiscosterone, Progesterone, Aldosterone: <0.1%; Allotetrahydrocortisol, Tetrahydrocortisol, Cortol, Cortolone, 11-Hydroxyetiochoranolone: <0.01%. Species Crossreactivity: A broad species crossreactivity is expected based on conservation of sequence homology.
