Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.
Specificity
Shows only the anti-ribosomal P precipitate band when tested by immunodiffusion against rabbit thymus extract. Specificity is verified by immunodiffusion and ELISA techniques. Exhibits no reactivity at a dilution of 1:100 when tested against purified SSA, SSB, Sm, Sm/RNP and Jo-1 antigens in an ELISA system designed to detect all IgG subclasses.
