Salmonella species (A,B,C,D & E Groups) (FITC)

• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes Salmonella species. Cross-reacts with Salmonella paratyphi, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella choleraesuis, Salmonella newport, Salmonella enteriditis, Salmonella anatum and Salmonella selandia. Does not cross-react with E. coli O55:B5, E. coli K12 and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
