• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes Enterotoxins A and D of Staphylococcus aureus. Specificity was established in indirect ELISA using standard staphylococcal entertoxins A, B, C1, C2, D, E coated on ELISA plates at appropriate dilution of ascitic fluids. Percentage of crossreactivity with enterotoxins of S. aureus. Crossreactivity: A: 8%, B: 0%, C1: 0%, C2: 0%, D: 100%, E: 0%
