Background
MRPL43 (Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein L43) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with MRPL43 include Spastic Paraplegia 45, Autosomal Recessive. Among its related pathways are Mitochondrial translation and Organelle biogenesis and maintenance. MRPL43 and the gene for a semaphorin class 4 protein (SEMA4G) overlap at map location 10q24. 1 and are transcribed in opposite directions.
