PFK-158

• Description:

  PFK158 is an inhibitor of 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-bisphosphatase 3 (PFKFB3; IC₅₀ = 137 nM for human recombinant PFKFB3). Upon administration, PFK-158 binds to and inhibits the activity of PFKFB3, which leads to the inhibition of both the glycolytic pathway in and glucose uptake by cancer cells.
