Description
DU-14 is a potent steroid sulfatase inhibitor with an IC50 of 55.8 nM. DU-14 inhibits the MCF-7 cell proliferation (IC50 = 38.7 nM) . DU-14 has neuroprotective effects against neurotoxic Aβ, suggesting that up-regulation of endogenous DHEAS by DU-14 could be beneficial to the alleviation of Aβ-induced impairments in spatial memory and synaptic plasticity[1][2][3].
