Description
Echinotocin is a neuropeptide found in sea urchins that has muscle contractile activity. Echinotocin can cause contractions of the tube feet and esophagus of sea urchins. Echinotocin can be used to study the role of neuropeptides in invertebrate physiology and behavior[1].
