5-Methoxyresorcinol (Standard) is an analytical standard for 5-Methoxyresorcinol. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. 5-Methoxyresorcinol is a model molecule for the A ring of flavonoids, specifically mimicking the chemical behavior of the resorcinol-type A ring in catechins. 5-Methoxyresorcinol exhibits very low tocopherol regeneration activity. 5-Methoxyresorcinol shows little inhibition of cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP).
