Iso-C15:0 3-OH is a fatty acid that can be isolated from strain PLRT. PLRT is a rod shaped, Gram-stain-negative, chemo-organotrophic, heterotrophic, strictly aerobic bacterium isolated from faeces of the mollusc Aplysia punctata[1].
