Description
NS-6740 is a 7 nAChRs partial agonist with a Ki of 1.1 nM. NS-6740 is also an effective modulator of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. NS-6740 switched the signaling mode of 7 in a channel-independent manner, which reduces synaptic function. NS-6740 can induce the desensitization state of 7 nAChRs. NS-6740 can result in the generation of robust nAChR-mediated currents. NS-6740 reduces lipopolysaccharide-induced TNF-α release from microglia. NS-6740 can be studied in research on inflammatory and neurological disease such as chronic and neuropathic pain[1][2][3].
