  Platelet-Derived Growth Factor BB Human Recombinant is a glycosylated homodimer produced in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, containing 2x109 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 32kDa.

• Buffer:

  The PDGF-BB was lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered solution in 20mM sodium phosphate in absence of any carrier protein.

• Storage Conditions:

  Lyophilized Platelet-derived Growth Factor BB although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PDGF BB should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.

• Sequence Similarities:

  The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Leu-Gly-Ser-Leu.
