Description
1.1 Test Principle The detection of chlorine dioxide is based on DPD method, meeting the requirements of national standards for drinking water quality (GB/5750.11-2006) and 20th edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater (America) . 1.2 Applied Range The pocket colorimeter can be used to measure the residual concentration of chlorine dioxide in all kinds of water disinfected by chlorine dioxide. The unit of numerical value on screen is “mg/L”. 1.3 Instrument Specification Test Range: 0~5.00 mg/L Light source: Light Emitting Diode (LED) Detection Wavelength : 525nm Reading accuracy: 0.01mg/L Detection precision: ≤ ±5% Power Source: 4x1.5V Battery Life: ≥ 40 working hours Size: 159x68x35mm Weight: About 220g (including batteries) Working Environment:0~40°C; Relative Humidity within 0~90% (No Condensed Water) 2.1 Calibration In order to save time and cost of constructing a calibration curve for users, the Huankai pocket colorimeter has been calibrated before it leaves the factory. 3.1 Parts List 1. A test mainframe; 2. A bottle of chlorine dioxide reagent (I) (25mL) 3. Chlorine dioxide reagent (II) (100 tests) ; 4. 2 test tubes of 10 mL; 5. 4 batteries of 1.5V; 6. A instruction book; 7. A certificate of qualification; 8. Some lens paper; 9. A carrying case 4.Product Validity Check 4.1 Visual Check Generally, the chlorine dioxide reagent (II) should be white or light gray powder. It means the reagent quality has deteriorated if agglomerate or turn to brown. 4.2 Instrument Check After zero with pure water, add a packet of chlorine dioxide reagent (II) ; shake to dissolve and then test result according to Test Method (2.3) . Generally speaking, the test result should be 0.00 ; It indicates the reagent quality has deteriorated severely if the test result is over 0.03 ; If the test result is not 0.00 but no more than 0.02, it shows that the reagent quality deteriorated slightly and users can continue use the reagent in rough test (or deduct reagent blank value in accurate test) . The deterioration of reagent quality will bring positive error to test result.
Recommended Usage
For chlorine dioxide testing in water.
