Assay Principle
Peptone provide nitrogen, vitamins and growth factors; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic equilibrium; lactose into fermentable sugars. Formulation (per liter) : Pancreatic Digest of Gelatin 20 g Lactose Monohydrate 10g Dehydrated Ox Bile 5g Bromocresol Purple 10mg final pH 7.3±0.2 How to use: 1.Suspend 35g in 1 L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, dispensing flask, 121 °C autoclave for 15min. 2.Diluted and treated samples.
Storage Conditions
Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
Recommended Usage
For cultivation of Escherichia coli.
