Assay Principle
Sorbitol provides carbon and nitrogen sources, disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate buffer solution, bile salts to inhibit gram-positive bacteria, sodium chloride provides osmotic cells need. Formulation (per liter) : Disodium hydrogen phosphate 8.23g Sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaH2PO4.H2O) 1.2g Sodium chloride 5.0g The 3rd bile 1.5g Sorbitol 20g Final pH7.6
Assay Protocol
1. Suspend 36g in 1 L of distilled or deionized water , heated to boiling stirring until completely dissolved, dispensing into flask, autoclave at 121 °C for 15min. 2.Dilluted and treated samples.
Storage Conditions
Store in a dark, cool and dry place, tighten the cap immediately after use. Storage period of three years.
Recommended Usage
For enrichment of Yersinia bacteria.
