Tradipitant

Tradipitant is a selective, high-affinity antagonist at human substance P/neurokinin-1 (NK-1) receptors. NK-1 receptors are expressed in the brainstem and nucleus tractus solitarius, which receives emetogenic signals from various stimuli including dizziness and vertigo. Approved by the FDA on December 30, 2025, tradipitant is indicated for the prevention of vomiting induced by motion. Tradipitant has also been investigated in gastroparesis,COVID-19-induced pneumonia, and atopic dermatitis.
