Equine GM-CSF Recombinant Protein

  • Background:

GM-CSF is a protein secreted by macrophages, T cells, mast cells, NK cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts. GM-CSF stimulates stem cells to produce granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils) and monocytes. Granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is secreted in response to inflammatory stimuli such as LPS, IL-1, and TNF-α by a variety of different cells, including endothelium, fibroblasts, muscle cells, and macrophages, and by activated T cells. GM-CSF is glycosylated in its mature form.
  • Description:

The Equine GM-CSF yeast-derived recombinant protein is not tagged and is naturally endotoxin-free. The purity is greater than 98% as visualized by SDS-PAGE analysis. Equine GM-CSF applications are for cell culture, ELISA standard, and Western Blot Control. The Equine GM-CSF yeast-derived recombinant protein can be purchased in multiple sizes. Equine GM-CSF Specifications: (Molecular Weight: 15.2 kDa) (Amino Acid Sequence: APTRQPSPVT RPWQHVDAIK EALSLLNNSS DTAAIMNETV EVVSETFDAE ELTCLQTRLK LYKQGLRGSL IKLEGPLTMM ASHYKQHCPP TLETSCATQM ITFKSFKKNL KDFLFEIPFD CWSQPRSKAG LPARS) .
