Rabbit CCL2 (MCP-1) ELISpot

• Background:

  CCL2, also known as monocyte chemotactic protein-1, is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. They are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CCL2 recruits monocytes, memory T cells, and dendritic cells to sites of tissue injury and infection. CCL2 is implicated in pathogeneses of several diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis.

• Description:

  Rabbit CCL2 ELISpot contains Capture Antibody, Standard Control, and Detection Antibody for development of up to two (2) ELISpot assays. Other required materials and reagents are not supplied. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISpot with the Standard Control provided. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.
